The title McLaughlin House is a take off on the original McLoughlin House in Oregon City, OR.
John McLoughlin was the original Oregon pioneer given the title Father of Oregon. He is memorialized by the restoration of the house he built in Oregon city, OR, a National Historic site.
We built our McLaughlin House in Clackamas, OR in 2003. Although you will find several photos of this house throughout the site, the real focus here is on the McLaughlin family and friends--as will become readily apparent while you navigate these pages.
